This recipe merged two of my kids’ favorite things: chicken nuggets & pretzels. Why not try coating that chicken in pretzels and spices to switch dinner up a little? It was a gamble as I tried this out on my family for dinner first. Usually, I create recipes on my own and remake them if they’re successful with others. Buckle up, fam! Lucky for everyone, this one was a hit. And it’s the first time in a very long time that everyone ate everything that was served for dinner, with no alterations, no additions, no substitutions. I’d say this was a win.

Let’s also turn these pretzel nugs into a full meal by adding potatoes and broccoli to that sheet pan. Mini potatoes need a little extra cooking time, so slice those and pop those into the oven while you are making your nugs. Then, add the nugs and broccoli to your potatoes and finish cooking dinner. If you want to just make the pretzel nuggets, you certainly can. These would also be fantastic in the air fryer. Give it a whirl at 400 degrees F for 12 – 14 minutes or until cooked through to 165 degrees F. Cooking time with alter depending on the size of your nuggets.

Grab your largest sheet pan for this dinner, or if you don’t have a big old sheet pan the size of your oven, grab two small sheet pans. Use one for your potatoes and the other for your chicken and broccoli. While it does take a little extra time to coat your nuggets yourself, it is totally worth it when everyone is happy at dinner! If you need to add dipping sauces to encourage your kids to eat all of these items, do it. Ranch. Honey mustard. Ketchup. Buffalo sauce. Sky’s the limit.

- 2 large broccoli crowns
Instructions

- Slice your mini potatoes in half. Place on one half of a greased sheet pan. Spray with oil. Cook for 20 minutes.
